Introducing the Scimitar Bass IV. Featuring a two piece Ash body with a bolt on five piece neck of maple and walnut. The above bass has a single Schaller MM4 pickup and a volume and tone control. The body is carved for optimum comfort and is perfectly balanced so you won't be fighting to keep the neck up while playing. The neck is fixed on with seven bolts and is extended into the body for a rock solid joint. This joint eliminates loss of string energy at this critical joint, giving it the characteristics of a neck through bass. Phat tone and long sustain are the characteristics of this bass. The Scimitar Bass is also available with two pickups and a choice of preamps, to further enhance its tonal capabilities. All hardware on the bass is from Schaller, a name you can trust.

As with all instruments, the choice is yours on body wood, colour, hardware colour, fretboard, neck woods, pickup and preamp configurations and of course, the number of strings. Available in 4, 5 and 6 string variations and also available as a neck through if required.
