The Rapier
Introducing The Rapier. Available in a choice of exotic top woods and colours including solid colours. The one pictured above has a curly maple top, Macassar ebony fretboard, Bound body and headstock, Tune o matic bridge and stop tail piece. There is an ace of spades inlay on the tretboard, on the 9 piece neck. Controls are kept to a minimum, just a volume pot and a three way switch. Pickups are DiMarzio D Activators and the pickup rings are made of Maccasar ebony to match the fretboard.
The body top is gently carved for ease and comfort while playing. The guitar is perfectly balanced while playing sitting down. Schaller strap locks are included for extra security.
The heel joint where the neck and body meet is sculpted to allow full access to the high frets. All Dolmen Custom guitars have a volute where the headstock and neck meet for added strength and it creates a nice feature on the back of the neck.
